Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use of the product under the following terms:
- Frame: 2 years from the original date of purchase
- Batteries: 1 year from the original date of purchase
- Chargers: 1 year from the original date of purchase
- Other parts (excluding consumables and wear-and-tear components like tires): 1 year from the original date of purchase
What is Covered
The warranty covers the following:
- Defects in materials or workmanship in the product or its components
- Any parts that fail due to manufacturing defects under normal use
What is Not Covered
The following are not covered under this warranty:
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect
- Wear and tear from regular use (e.g., flat tires, brake pads, etc.)
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, etc.)
- Battery degradation due to overcharging, misuse, or lack of maintenance
- Shipping costs for returns or exchanges
Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at support@drivetronscooter.com with the following information:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the defect (if applicable)
Once we receive your claim, our customer support team will assess the issue and guide you through the return or repair process. We may require you to return the defective part or product for inspection before issuing a replacement or repair.
Limitation of Liability
DriveTron’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective part or product. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
Exclusions
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover damage from commercial use or rental.
